NEW STANDARD: USB 3.2 (Gen 2x2) realises transfer rates of up to 20 Gbit/s. This corresponds to up to 2500 MB per second. This means your data is transferred super fast
COOLING: The heat inside the heat sink is ideally conducted to the outside of the enclosure via the heat sink and the silicone heat pad. This keeps the NVMe SSD cool even under full load
EVERYTHING INCLUDED: The package contents of the external NVMe enclosure contain all the necessary cables to be prepared for any eventuality. No additional tools are needed to install the NVMe SSD
SPECIALISED: The external NVMe enclosure offers space for an NVMe with the dimensions 22x80 mm. Other common formats are not supported by this enclosure and cannot be installed


External USB Type-C® enclosure for M.2 NVMe SSD
Thanks to the external USB 3.2 Type-C® enclosure IB-1916M-C32 you can take one NVMe SSD with you easily enough. It allows access to M.2 SSDs of up to
2 TB no matter to which host you connect it. The IB-1916M-C32 is compatible with M.2 cards of 80 mm length, it is operating system-independent and suitable for a variety of applications such as high-speed storage, cloning a drive or running a mobile operating system.

System requirements
The enclosure delivers the full data transfer rate of up to 20 Gbit/s only on USB 3.2 (Gen 2x2) host interfaces and an available Asmedia chipset ASM3242. Currently the USB 3.2 (Gen 2x2) standard is not supported by a macOS® based computer.
A USB Type-A host interface can be connected in some notebooks and PCs with USB 3.1, 3.0 or 2.0 and can also be used by connecting the included USB Type-C® to Type-A cable.
The enclosure will also work on devices with the Thunderbolt™ 3 interface at a transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s specified by USB 3.1 (Gen 2).
